Participation in the 397th Foundation Day of Los Baños - "Walk for a Cause"

The Office of the Mayor, Municipality of Los Baños is inviting everyone to participate in the Walk for a Cause with the theme Mga Nasalantang Kababayan, Ating Damayan in celebration of the 397th Foundation Anniversary of the town of Los Baños. This is in lieu of the traditional Civic Parade and shall be held with the objective of instilling the spirit of volunteerism for the benefit of the poor families who are now temporarily sheltered in evacuation centers and 'tent cities'.

The event will be held on Monday, September 17, 2012. The walk will start at 3:00 p.m. from Trace College to the Municipal Covered Court. For those who will be joining the walk, kindly bring any amount of cash as donation or you may also opt to donate in kind (e.g. rice, canned goods, blankets, bottled water, medicines, toiletries, or used toys, books and clothes). You can also support this initiative of the Office of the Mayor by organizing your units/offices to donate in cash or in kind. A Donation Center shall be set up at the culminating area of the parade where all cash and material donations shall be accounted for in public by the Municipal Budget Office.
