UPLB gets 100% passing rate in LET

It’s a perfect passing rate for the most recent batch of UPLB’s new teachers!

UPLB’s 39 examinees passed the September 2018 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET)-Secondary Level that was given by the Professional Regulation Commission.

Making it to the top ten is Angel Mae O. Ombid at sixth place with a rating of 91.80%. Ombid graduated cum laude under the BS Mathematics and Science Teaching program, an education curriculum first offered in UPLB.

The national passing rate for LET-Secondary Level is 48.03%, with 60,803 passers out of 126,582 takers in the country.

In a year’s time, UPLB garnered two perfect passing rates in LET-Secondary Level with its performance in the exam’s March and September 2018 editions. (Mark Jayson E. Gloria, with information from www.prc.gov.ph)
