Face-to-face classes gradually re-opens for UPLB

UPLB has been authorized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to reopen the campus for the conduct of limited face-to-face classes for 98 students.

The authorization was issued on Dec. 17, after CHED deemed UPLB to have complied with the requirements under the Joint Memorandum Circular No. 2021-001 of CHED and the Department of Health. Only the 98 students identified in the list submitted by UPLB to the CHED Regional Office IV will be attending the face-to-face classes.

The preparation for the limited opening of face-to-face classes included retrofitting UPLB’s laboratories and facilities and implementing policies that conform to minimum public health standards.

These changes were inspected by CHED on a site visit
