UP PSAE partners with WILUP to feature watersheds in PAK! Season 2

The UP Professional School for Agriculture and the Environment (UP PSAE) will feature conversations on watersheds for PAK! Season 2.

PAK or “Para sa Agrikultura at Kalikasan!”  is UP PSAE’s online radio program on agriculture and environment initiatives.

UP PSAE collaborated with the Watershed-based Approach for Integrated Land Use Planning (WILUP) project to discuss watersheds and land use planning during its airing at 7pm every Wednesday from Feb. 2 to March 9.

Dr. Rex Cruz, resident watershed expert and Dr. Pamela Custodio, the host for the season, will join the PAK! Regular hosts Dr. Rina de Luna and Dr. Ronilo Flores in the six episodes.

The program will also have occasional guests from partner agencies that advocate watershed-based approaches to land use planning.

Topics ranging from watershed basics, watershed management, the Watershed Ecosystem Management framework or the Ridge-to-Reef approach, to the preparations and requirements of local development plans will be discussed throughout the six episodes.

Audiences may watch PAK through the Facebook pages of Radyo DZLB, UP PSAE, and WILUP UPLB. They may also earn an online badge if they pass a short quiz at the end of each episode.
