John Leonell A. Vargas of the Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Physics was recognized as the 2021 CAS Outstanding Administrative Personnel in the technician/craftsman category.

Two students were given the 2021 CAS Outstanding Student Awards, one for the arts and the other one for the sciences.

They are Jamie Nicole SB. Millan, a BA Communication Arts student and Louise Gabrielle L. Talip, a BS Computer Science student.

In her message, Dean Maribel L. Dionisio-Sese expressed her gratitude to everyone who tried their best even with the challenges brought by the pandemic.

She also congratulated all the awardees who made outstanding contributions to the College.

“It is the people who man the pillars and portals, and those who pass through them who make academic institutions such as our college, the College of Arts and Sciences, truly great,” Dr Sese said.
