Students from the College of Forestry and Natural Resources won this year’s UPIANA Heritage Quiz Bee.

The group of Mitzi B. Pamulaklakin, John Marlon P.  Magbuo, and John Michael M. Cornito obtained the highest scores in answering questions about UPLB history, personalities, and events.

The University Library, in partnership with the Department of Social Sciences (DSS) and the Department of Humanities (DHUM), conducted the quiz bee’s 4th series on Mar. 18 at the Main Library, Bienvenido M. Gonzalez Hall.

The College of Development Communication placed second, while the College of Arts and Sciences ranked third.

Three representatives each from seven colleges took part in the UPIANA quiz, which is being held in celebration of UPLB’s Foundation Day and the UP System Libraries’ Founding Anniversary this month.

Serving as UPIANA judges were William R. Remollo and Gloria Melencio, faculty members at the Department of Humanities (DHUM) and Social Science, respectively, and University Librarian Concepcion DL. Saul.

Katherine M. Gonzales, a faculty member at DHUM, was this year’s quizmaster. (Virginia P. Alcantara)
