UPLB is a top-performing school in FTLE

In its second year of implementation, the Food Technologists Licensure Examination (FTLE) conducted in August 2024 by the Professional Regulation Commission has again ranked UPLB among the top-performing schools in food technology in the country.

A top-performing school in food technology should have 25 or more examinees with at least an 80% passing percentage in the FTLE. UPLB had 97 graduates taking the FTLE this year.

Seven takers from UPLB secured places in the top 10. These are Marlen DLC Tabudlong who placed second with a rating of 87.75%; James Ryan D. Aranzado, fourth place at 87.25%; Roselle Ivy M. Casumbal, fifth place at 87%; Hannah Angelica A. Guese, sixth place at 86.75%; Maria Shanaia A. De Las Alas and Jose Amado D. Torreda, who both took the ninth place at 86%; and Althea Q. Jumawan-Balitaon who took tenth place with a rating of  85.75%. (Josephine M. Bo)
