UPLB is the top-performing school in 2024 Chemists Licensure Examination

UPLB is recognized as the top-performing school in the 2024 Chemists Licensure Examination (ChLE) with a passing percentage of 90.57%.

As per Civil Service Commission Resolution No. 1814 series of 2024, a top-performing school in the October 2024 ChLE must have 50 or more examinees with at least 80% passing percentage.

John Francis G. Antiola, who graduated magna cum laude from UPLB in 2024, ranked 7th among all passers of the ChLE with a rating of 90.25%. 

On October 21, 2024, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 592 out of 1,098 takers passed the 2024 computer-based and paper and pencil ChLE.

The October 2024 ChLE was given by the PRC Board of Chemistry in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, and Zamboanga.
