All of UPLB’s 16 takers passed the 10^th Industrial Engineering Certification Examination. With half of them entering the top ten, UPLB also dominated the elite list of topnotchers.

The examination was administered by the Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers (PIIE) through the Industrial Engineering Certification Board (IECB).

Leading the 540 new certified industrial engineers in the country is UPLB’s Marc Edelbert S. Villanueva, first placer, with a rating of 87.38%.

Joining Villanueva in the top 10 are second placer John Bernard M. Croox (85.70%); third placer Nigel Fredric R. Pantastico (85.14%); and fourth placers Maetien M. Daylo and Alyssa Mikaela S. Ronquillo (84.58%).

Angela Ira B. Ramos (82.34%); Christian Earl J. Buna (81.21%); and John Russel L. Macatangay (80.93%) placed sixth, ninth, and tenth in the top ten, respectively.

Passers are included in the ASEAN Registry of Engineers as Associate ASEAN Engineers
