College of Engineering and Agro-industrial Technology
The College of Engineering and Agro-Industrial Technology (CEAT) envisions, “Excellence in engineering education, research and extension; committed to progressive transformation and global relevance of Philippine Agriculture and Industry”. Tracing its roots back to 1912, it has now gained various awards such as AUN-QA, PRC’s Top Performing School and CHED’s Center of Excellence and Center of Development. The College continuously upgrades engineering programs to be attuned to the present and future needs of the country for national and international agro-industrial development.
Highlights
Since its institution, CEAT has become one of the best engineering colleges in the country, producing quality graduates and generating technologies that serve the Filipino people. It is also known to have innovative academic programs with strong academe-industry linkage.
Research
CEAT pursues research collaborations with government and non-government organizations, the private sector, and international organizations towards the development and growth of the country’s engineering sector. CEAT also implements extension projects for the benefit of engineering stakeholders, particularly the local equipment manufacturers and the farmers.
Public Service
CEAT conducts agricultural training courses and seminars to our farmers through the Center for Agri-Fisheries and Biosystems Mechanization and the Agricultural Machinery Testing and Evaluation Center. With this, the farmers learn new methods, techniques and strategies in modern farming as well as in agricultural production.
