Lumban National HS

UPLB OSA Director Dr. Nina M. Cadiz (front row, 5th from L), SFAD head Jenette Lory P. Tamayo )4th from L), and OSA-SFAD staff with the constituents of Lumban Senior High School during the visit of OSA personnel on Sept. 7.

The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) has conducted an information drive among senior high school students on the financial assistance programs that it administers for UPLB students.

The information campaign program, called Active SFAD System Informing SHS of Technical Services (OSA ASSISTS), aims to introduce UP to senior high school students of various public schools. It also seeks to inform them of the financial assistance programs offered by OSA, including the Socialized Tuition System, scholarships, loan programs, adopt-a-student program, and the student assistantship program. Ultimately, it seeks to help the students realize that financial constraint is not a hindrance to getting a UP education.

OSA ASSISTS was first introduced at the Tuntungin-Putho Integrated National High School on Aug. 23 to more than 160 Grades 11 and 12 students.

To date, OSA has visited 12 national high schools in Laguna, namely: Tuntungin-Putho Integrated National High School, Laguna Senior High School, Dayap Integrated National High School, Alaminos National High School, Liliw National High School, Plaridel National High School, Lumban Senior High School, Siniloan Integrated National High School, Longos Integrated National High School, Famy Integrated National High School, Santa Maria National High School, and Balian National High School.
