UPLB is lone top performing school in agri board exam

UPLB is the lone top performing school in the November 2017 Agriculturist Licensure Exam given by the Professional Regulation Commission. It inked a 99.22% passing rate, with 128 out of 129 takers passing the exam.

Eight of its examinees also landed in the top ten, led by Mary Shaddeline Labitag Zafra (86.33%) at 5th place. Joining her are Jhon Mark Ortega Trinidad (86.17%) at 6th place; Angel Mae Dilla Manato and Bernard Blanes Panabang (85.83%) at 8th place; and Jose Emmanuel Ilagan De Luna, Ardel Lopez Dela Peña, Alexander Coronado Garcia, and Maria Kenneth Lane Repolda Suplito (85.50%) at 10th place.

A top performing school is one with 50 or more examinees and with at least 80% passing percentage.

The national passing rate is 38.25%, with 2,883 passers out of 7,537 examinees nationwide. (Juan Paolo A. Aquino, with reports from
