90% of UPLB personnel is now vaccinated

UPLB is inching closer to fully vaccinating its workforce. As of Sept. 21, a total of 3,975 UPLB employees out of 4,442 have already been vaccinated.

UPLB began its COVID-19 vaccine roll-out on July 27 after the Department of Health (DOH) Region 4A COVAX facility approved the allocation of Janssen’s single dose COVID-19 vaccines for UPLB personnel.

The campaign is exclusive to UPLB personnel regardless of their place of residence and status of employment.

Some UPLB personnel were vaccinated through their respective local government units.

UPLB administration enjoined all UPLB employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 which is part of the efforts to ensure that the staff are working in a safe and healthy environment.
