CEM to host ENERCON 2022

UPLB will be holding the 3rd International Conference on Energy and Environmental Economics (ENERCON 2022) on July 28-29.

The virtual conference will be organized by the Department of Economics under the College of Economics and Management and will have the theme, “Harnessing sustainable energy and ensuring resilient environments toward economic recovery.”

It will showcase papers from local and foreign universities and research institutions and will cover topics on sustainable development, economy-environment linkages, environment and energy policy, and natural resource valuation and management.

Plenary sessions will feature international energy and environmental economics experts who will share their research experiences.

They are Dr. Anil Markandaya from the Scientific Campus of the University of the Basque Country, Spain, Dr. Philip Andrews-Speed from the National University of Singapore, Dr. Nancy Olewiler from Simon Fraser University, Dr. Steven Puller from Texas A&M University, and Dr. David Stern from the Australian National University.
