21 UPLB degree programs recognized for completing EQA assessments

A total of 21 UPLB degree programs from seven colleges that have completed the External Quality Assurance (EQA) assessments were recognized on Dec. 12, 2023 by the UPLB Quality Assurance Office (QAO) on their 5th anniversary celebration.

“In the spirit of continuous improvement, this assessment has not only highlighted our strengths, but has also illuminated areas for growth,” said Dr. Myra Borines, director of QAO. “Such reflections further lead us to innovate, evolve, and reach new heights of our pursuit of excellence,” she added.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Janette Silva, vice chancellor for student affairs, who represented Chancellor Jose V. Camacho, Jr.. Joining her were Roberto Cereno, vice chancellor for community affairs; Dr. Maribel L. Dionisio-Sese, dean of CAS; Dr. Ma. Stella Tirol, dean of CDC; Dr. Jennifer Amparo, dean of CHE; Dr. Ma. Angeles Catelo, OIC of CEM ; Dr. Marion Castro, OIC of CEAT; Dr. Analyn Codilan, associate dean of CFNR; and Dr. Aileen Lapitan, assistant to the OIC of CPAf. (Allane Desiree Arganda)
